Apart of the exhibition section, the PSU museum also houses collections of organisms and fossils. Most of specimens came from teaching and research activities. These specimens are useful in natural history-related fields, including biology, ecology and in particular taxonomy. The obtained specimens will be preserved in international standard and cared by specialists. The collections can be divided into 5 groups, namely planktons, invertebrates (except insects), insects, vertebrates and fossils.
