The Town Municipality of Sadao involved in Plant Genetic Conservation Project and initiated to create a conservation area. Kho Le is the largest green space next to the town, being forest on hill similar to Kho Hong Hill of Hat Yai city. Therefore, the municipality had an idea to work with the museum to study and develop the trail, using Kho Hong Hill as a model. The trail will be used to educate and induce conservation awareness for local people. The collaboration was then established to accomplish that goal.
