PSU Museum does not only open the exhibition area for public, but also organizes special events for people to enjoy different experience. In a year, there are 2 specials free events, namely National Children Day and National Science Week.

National Children Day

The second Saturday of January is scheduled to be the National Children Day of Thailand. Every year, PSU Museum organizes activities and allows children and their parents to visit the exhibition for free. The aims of this event are to promote natural history learning, cultivate good attitude about science and conservation, inspire and entertain the kids. Each year, there are different activities, including games, art workshops, handicraft makings, science shows, and sometimes temporary exhibitions. There are at least 2,000 kids and parents joining this event each year.

National Science Week

Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University organizes National Science Week every year. During the event, there are students from all over Southern Thailand visiting the campus to enjoy scientific exhibitions and activities. PSU Museum is responsible for giving experience about natural history to visitors through exhibitions and special activities, including games, art workshops, handicraft makings and science shows. Moreover, the museum usually chooses this period to launch new exhibitions. Every year, there are around 20,000 – 40,000 students joining this event.
